This is a direct humanitarian intervention using our women members as drivers. It will identify women in Amasu who are either in desperate health condition or in poor domestic state. Apparently, our young girls under thirty are becoming grandmothers while many are single mothers at very tender age. This has impacted negatively on the lives of the girl-child who has been victims of poor parenthood. Women in Need project will be the vehicle in raising awareness in women empowerment and mentorship.

It will also serve as a gathering point for women of Amasu ancestry, who will drive the various empowerment projects as thus:

  • Give advisory and financial support to grassroot businesses.
  • Encourage large scale farming and food preservation processes.
  • Supply sanitary, children and women related materials.
  • Organise training programmes in maternal health, personal hygiene and tips on healthcare etc.
